Read Across America Week is an annual week-long reading celebration that takes place around Dr. Seuss's birthday! It was launched in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA) and it is the nation's largest celebration of reading. The program focuses on motivating children to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources.

At our school we plan a week of activities, including; daily themed dress up days and guest readers.
